All Important Articles of Indian Constitution : The Indian Constitution is the supreme law of India and was adopted on 26th November 1949. It has a total of 448 articles which are divided into 25 parts and 12 schedules.

  • The Constitution lays down the framework for the government of India, including the powers and duties of the President, Prime Minister, and the judiciary.
  • It also lays down the rights and duties of citizens, including fundamental rights and directive principles of state policy.
  • Article 14 guarantees equality before the law and prohibits discrimination on the grounds of religion, race, caste, sex, or place of birth.
  • Article 19 guarantees six fundamental rights such as freedom of speech and expression, freedom of religion, and freedom of assembly.
  • Article 21 guarantees the right to life and personal liberty, and prohibits arbitrary arrest and detention.
  • Article 51A lays down the fundamental duties of citizens, such as to respect the Constitution, the national flag, and the national anthem.

All Important Articles of Indian Constitution : The Constitution provides for a federal system of government, with the central government and the state governments. The Constitution can be amended by a two-thirds majority in both houses of the Parliament, subject to the ratification by at least half of the state legislatures.
